  Herb’s Herbs and Such….

Your southeastern Minnesota Herb Farm
“The Edible Plant Place”

With my business Herb’s Herbs, I retired from many years of selling at the Rochester (MN) Downtown Farmers’ Market and selling to restaurants and supermarkets. I continue growing and selling chemical-free fresh herbs, potted herb and vegetables transplants seasonally from my farm near Zumbro Falls Minnesota. Please read the author bio page for a brief history of Herb’s Herbs.

Many people have asked, “Who is Herb?” Herb was my grandfather. I come from a long line of growers going back to an ancestor who started a nursery in 1918. It is in my genes!

For the last 5 years I’ve been selling my herb and vegetable transplants at a gourmet stand-alone produce store in Rochester Minnesota.  In 2010, due to the thriving business at my farm, I’ll no longer be selling in Rochester but solely from my farm.

In this scaled down incarnation of Herb’s Herbs my focus is on encouraging people to grow their own food. Here you will find only plants that you can eat!

While flowers are food for the soul, the only flowers you will find here are edible ones. You’ll find hanging baskets of nasturtiums for tasty additions to your salads and more.

Herb’s Herbs is located only 14 easy miles from Rochester Minnesota. You are invited, and encouraged, to make the short drive. It will be fun, and you are welcome to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, take a country walk or just sit and relax by a restful fire.

We have a stunning view high on a hilltop overlooking the beautiful Zumbro River valley.
