Author Bio Biographical statement from the author of Growing and Selling Fresh Cut Herbs.
Welcome to the world of fresh-cut herbs!
In this scaled down incarnation of Herb’s Herbs my focus is on
encouraging people to grow their own food. Here you will find only
plants that you can eat!
• Plants are timed for planting at the ideal dates in southern Minnesota, you won’t find stretched plants that are too mature
• All plants are hardened off and ready to plant-no gradual hardening off need be done by you.
* We have a large selection culinary and medicinal herb plants, many varieties of tomato & pepper plants including mature patio plants, vegetable plants from broccoli to squash.
* We give personal service & great prices! Free recipes, care information sheets and knowledgeable advice
can be decorative, cosmetic, aromatic, medicinal and culinary. The term
fresh-cut herbs is generally used to define those used to flavor our
food and beverages. These culinary herbs are used fresh rather than
dried. The flavor of fresh herbs has far more zest than dried. Some
herbs do not retain their flavor when dried and must be used fresh.
The worldwide popularity of fresh-cut herbs provides an opportunity for
growers and gardeners everywhere to have their own successful business
growing and selling fresh-cut herbs.
People who love to grow herbs for their own use will learn the "insiders" secrets of professional herb growers to help them become better herb growers. This informative book would be a most thoughtful and practical gift for the herb lover and grower.
